Emily began her career as in-house counsel to two rapidly growing SaaS startups, later moving on to a global law firm’s Corporate, Securities, and Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. This experience allows Emily to bring a unique perspective on the challenges and needs of early-stage and growing companies.
Emily has been quoted in publications such as Forbes, and her speaking engagements include the Hispanic National Bar Association Corporate Counsel Conference and the National Cannabis Bar Association Cannabis Law Institute.
Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from William Smith College in Geneva, New York. Emily earned her Juris Doctor from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.
